Manna Organics sent Vegan Digest a generous sampling of their Manna Bread products. What is Manna bread? It is a VEGAN cake-like, sprouted bread, free of salt, no oils, no sweeteners, no leavening agents. Also known as bible bread, this was the first time we had tried breads of this variety. Our FedEx delivered box included their "ALL MANNA IN ONE BOX" sampler, plus three slices of their new yeast-free sourdough breads. The sampler included:

After much toasting and tasting (we like our bread toasted here), all of the breads were a big hit. The Carrot Raisin was a favorite, reminding one taster of carrot cake with lots of carrot and large juicy raisins. It just needed frosting?
